Order Confirmations
The first acknowledgement of your order confirms that the order and payment have been submitted into our system. The payment may take 24 hours to fully process.

The next customer order confirmation will be e-mailed 2-5 business days after the order has been processed. If we are unable to meet your wear date, we will let you know within that time, and we will not charge your credit card. Be aware that the time frame may vary due to manufacturer response. The order confirmation will verify the vendor, style, size, color, quantity, and the estimated ship date of your purchase.

The time frame provided in the confirmation is an estimate based on when the manufacturer will be shipping the order to our location.

Most often, orders arrive on or before their approximate ship date. On occasion, there may be a slight delay in production, but this is rare.

1. IN STOCK IN OUR STORE- These will take approximately 1-8 days to get to you.
2. IN STOCK AT THE FACTORY- These will take approximately 3-15 days to get to you.
3. SPECIALLY ORDERED FOR YOU- These will take 12-16 weeks to arrive, depending on the manufacturer.

Please place your order as far in advance of your wear date as possible. By doing so, you will allow ample time for production and shipping. It also affords you a comfortable time frame to accommodate any alterations if necessary. Please note: designers periodically discontinue their styles without giving notice to retailers.

We emphatically suggest you consider using your work address as the shipping address if there is no one available at your residence during the day to sign for and accept the package. While we strongly insist that the driver receive a signature at the time of drop-off, it is at their discretion to leave a package at an address if they feel it is secure.

Return Policy

 wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. *If you receive a dress that does not meet with your approval , you may return it with a restocking fee of 25% (minimum fee is $29), unless it is a special order. A dress is considered a special order if it has been made specifically for you. Return shipping fees will not be refunded, and you will be charged $15 for shipping the dress to you. If your dress was under $150, and you paid the original shipping charge, there will be no additional shipping fee. You must have a return authorization in order to return a dress. Return Dress For Re-inspection

We carefully inspect each item to be sure it is the style, size, and color that you ordered, free of damage or defect and will reach you before your wear date. However, if we fail to do so, we will be happy to accept your return for re-inspection.
If the dress you received is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered we will accept a return for re-inspection in order to assess the problem and determine the best way to correct it. When returned for re-inspection, the dress must be in perfect, new, never worn, condition as received at the time of delivery. It must not be damaged, soiled, stained, torn, and be free of offensive odors (i.e.: smoke). Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. If the dress is determined to be damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered, we will refund your shipping cost.

In order to return your dress for re-inspection, we ask that you carefully follow these return instructions:

• Notify a member of our staff at 203-843-2344 about the problem with your order within 2 days of the order being delivered to you.
• If your item is eligible for re-inspection, you will receive a Return Authorization number that will allow you to return the dress to us. Return Authorizations are required for all packages to be received by our shipping department.
• Please include your shipping invoice when you return your dress.
• Please write the Return Authorization number, clearly on the outside of the package. Packages without a Return Authorization will NOT be accepted by our shipping department and refunds will not be credited or replacements/ repairs will not be issued for the items in them.
• Upon receiving the dress within 10 days from the date it was delivered to you, we will check it with respect to your particular problem.
• If we find that your item is, in fact, incorrect or defective we will inform the manufacturer of the problem and you will be issued a repair or replacement as quickly as possible. We will notify you of the repair/replacement details and confirm that they will work within your time constraints. If time does not allow for the corrected item to reach you before your wear date, you will be given the option to exchange or return the item for a full refund, including return shipping costs.
  

Discounts, Sales, and Coupons

We are happy to offer you discounts and sales on our merchandise whenever possible. We cannot reimburse you for previously purchased items that are presently on sale or that may go on sale in the future, or for which a coupon has been offered. Coupons are only valid for the dollar amount or percentage as stated, prior to the expiration date stated.

CANCELLATIONS

Once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.

PAYMENT

 accepts all major credit cards and debit cards--Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Personal checks and money orders are also accepted, but will cause a delay in your order processing. Dresses CANNOT be "held" or reserved while awaiting payment by check or money order.

If we are able to fill your order as requested in time for your wear date/ event we will charge the full amount to your card. However, if we are not able to fill your order, your card will NOT be charged and you will be notified via email with the details.

Personal checks should be mailed to us at the time the order is placed. Orders will NOT be processed until personal checks have cleared.

TAX POLICY

 will charge a 6% tax on Connecticut residents only. The 6% tax will be added to any item that is priced at more than $50.00. Any item under $50.00 will not be charged the 6% tax. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

Selecting a Size and Color

Each manufacturer offers their own size chart, which reflects how they cut their sizes. Eveningwear and bridal gowns generally run smaller than regular clothing. Please see Size Charts on our site. It is important that you follow the individual designer's chart to decide your size. Keep in mind that the measurements are taken to determine the closest size to be ordered and that the garment will not be custom-made to the exact measurements. Almost every gown will need some type of adjustment.

Prior to selecting your size to order, we suggest reviewing the information provided in How to Measure. The designer will be unable to accommodate any changes to the size once the order has been placed.

You, the customer, are responsible for the size ordered. We will help you determine the best size for you at your request, but you always choose the size.  cannot assume any responsibility for measurements.

It is important that you indicate the color you wish to order exactly as it is posted onsite. Many dresses are available in two-tone combinations and with trims. The customer is responsible for the color that is ordered.

We do not provide alterations for online orders. We suggest contacting a professional seamstress/ tailor in your area experienced in bridal and formal gowns.

Additional Charges
Additional charges may be incurred for certain order specifications where available.

SIZE SURCHARGE: A surcharge may be applicable when placing an order for any garment size 18 and over. Extra charges will be listed where they apply, and added to your invoice.

RUSH CHARGES: In some instances, rush service is available. Please write or call for this information, and any applicable prices.
