Dynamite Designs Boutique opened in 1990 as a small jewelry department within a larger department store. We quickly became known for our unique and interesting assortment of handcrafted jewelry, and soon expanded into sportswear, and then prom gowns. Of course by that time we had to move into our own store. Several years later we again expanded, and nearly tripled the size of our first store. Due to our huge selection, and wonderful referrals from our customers, we very soon became one of the largest prom stores in Connecticut. Our variety of dresses and prices, as well as superior customer service, keep our customers coming back whenever they have a special event in their lives. Since we stock dresses from size 0 to size 28W, it's always easy to find what you're looking for.

As our prom girls got older, we were encouraged to expand our offerings, and we now have a beautiful array of wedding gowns, mothers' dresses (again one of the largest in Connecticut), bridesmaids, and flower girls, as well as maintaining our reputation as the best prom store around. Of course we haven't forgotten our accessories roots, and still have an impressive selection of jewelry, shoes, handbags, veils, and headpieces.

We truly love seeing 'our'� prom girls return as beautiful brides, and dressing them, their mothers, and bridal parties for their special day.

Our newest expansion now involves the internet. We've had a very successful website for several years, but now we want to give you the convenience of ordering any gown on-line, right from your computer, so we've launched www.DynamiteDesignsOnline.com .
